Hiragana lesson 2: ka-ki-ku-ke-ko

We hope that you know your Chapter 1 thoroughly by now. In this second Hiragana lesson, you will learn about the second series of characters in the Japanese language which are KA-KI-KU-KE-KO. These characters might appear a little complicated at first but reading and writing them repeatedly will you master them within a short span of time. Go ahead:


  ka   Example: かお(kao - face)
ki Example: きもの (kimono - japanese dress)
ku Example: くるま (kuruma - car)
ke Example: けいさつ (keisatsu - police)
ko Example: こうえん (kouen - park)
